A perennial herb usually grown as an annual with long strappy foliage forming an edible pungent flavoured bulb. Ideal for garden beds or pots.

Fertilising Fertilise regularly for best results

Grow Tip Cultivate well drained soil before planting. Lift bulbs once the leaves have died down. Dry in the sun for a few days before storing. Plant in well drained soil.
Uses Leave to dry out in well-ventilated area before use. Use in meat, fish and pasta dishes. Reputed to be a natural antibiotic to treat colds and flu.
