Chilli ‘Jalapeno’ is a well-loved, medium-sized chilli with a mild to mid heat rating and green fruit that turns purple black to red with age. ‘Jalapeno’ thrives in direct sunlight and well-drained soil. Keep picking the tasty fruit to prolong the harvest. This variety is ideal in Mexican dishes and salsas; but it can also be pickled.
